I had a kiddo whose dad was deployed so I decided we were going to send him hugs from our class. We made handprints and then cut them out. I hole punched them and added the string, I measured their arms to with the string so they would be the same length on their hugs. We also made thank you cards and took a picture with our arms out stretched to show we are sending him a hug from our class. The kids loved this and the little boy was so excited to do this for his dad!! It was great!

This is a picture of my Write About It poster in my writing center. I made this poster this past summer as something to aid my kiddos in using sight words in the writing center and kind of giving them an idea of something to write about. The picture you see in the photo is interchangeable. I bought some picture cards and placed Velcro on the back of them so I can change them out. I tried to get several so I can change them twice a week and have some for every topic we cover and just a few silly ones. My kids LOVE it! It was very easy to make and really pretty cheap! I bought almost everything I needed at the Dollar Tree! Love that store!
Here is my Meg Muncher! I use it so the kiddos can have Meg Munch letters or sight words or numbers where they get to say or read or say the sound that the letter makes before they feed it to Meg!
Took the kiddos to see Stephen Fite again this year! Loved it all over again! I love singing his Welcome To School song every morning with my class! Gets the wiggles out!
Here is my new anchor chart that teaches my K kiddos about leaving the correct spaces in between letters and words! They just loved this chart and thought it was fun and silly but yet they still always show me their papers showing me the spaghetti spaces & meatball spaces that they used correctly!
This is a new game I just made for my kiddos! They get to match the pictures according to their sounds and put them into the correct containers. I bought the containers at dollar tree. They were bathroom containers and came 4 in 1 pack so it only cost me $1!
